ACA Accepts 2016 ASAE Summit Award in Washington, DC

Representatives from ACA and Boys & Girls Clubs of America recently attended ASAE's 17th Annual Power of A - Summit Awards Dinner at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC to accept an award for the 2016 Grow-Connect-Empower! Toolkit.
More than 1,000 association executives, industry partners, community leaders, and business and government representatives gathered at the National Building Museum on October 5, 2016, to honor six outstanding organizations. Attendees celebrated award-winning programs that showcase how each organization is making a difference in its community.

Richard Yep, FASAE, CAE, CEO of the ACA; Thelma Duffey, PhD, immediate past president of the ACA and professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio; and Jennifer Bateman, national vice president of program, training, and youth development services, Boys & Girls Clubs of America joined ASAE leadership on stage to accept a Summit Award for the Grow-Connect-Empower!
