ACA Asks Members to Assist in Aftermath of Illinois Flooding

In partnership with the American Red Cross, an emergency call to action for disaster mental health volunteers was issued to ACA members in the Rockford, Illinois area on July 31, 2017.
ACA members who are certified as Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Volunteers are needed to assist those displaced by flooding in the Rockford, Illinois area. Deployment is for two weeks and needs to begin by August 5. Only professional counselors certified by the American Red Cross as a Disaster Mental Health Volunteer are requested and eligible.
