ACA in the News: Complicated Grief

Cheryl Edwards, a member of the American Counseling Association, spoke with WMBF News about a debilitating condition known as complicated grief, which is often mistaken for depression.
She notes that people suffering from complicated grief fear forgetting their loved ones. “They start to forget their smell or the sound of their voice, and that creates more depression and anxiety.”
