ACA Launches School Counselor Connection Webpage

Feb 24, 2015
The American Counseling Association (ACA) has partnered with Michelle Obama's Reach Higher initiative, which supports the critical work of school counselors in preparing students to complete their education past high school.
As a direct result of that partnership, we have developed a new School Counselor Connection webpage to serve as a resource clearinghouse for all counseling professionals engaged in the work of advancing students' post-secondary success.

It's easy to get involved! Through the School Counselor Connection webpage you can also learn how to participate in the #ReachHigher photo campaign as well as the First Lady's FAFSA Completion Challenge.

ACA is committed to school counselors. Please feel free to contact us directly with any questions or feedback about this important initiative.

Special thanks and appreciation to Jasmine Mcleod, one of ACA’s 2014 Scholars-in-Residence and contributor to the School Counselor Connection webpage. Jasmine is a Professional School Counselor and currently serves as an Instructional Systems Specialist for  School Counseling & Psychology at DoDEA schools.
