ACA member Michael Rockel recently wrote an article about encore careers for Healthy Aging magazine.
“The mindset surrounding old age can be quite negative and become more stressful for people as they grow older. That is when a good counselor or friend might be helpful. The old adage that you can’t teach old dogs new tricks is just not so. Doing something different and then practicing that new skill can change the way one thinks and behaves.”
