The ACA Governing Council passed three important policies focusing on counselor licensure at their July, 2015 meeting.
These policies endorse graduation from a counseling program accredited by CACREP and its affiliate CORE as the pathway to licensure for future graduates, as well as provide support for those from non-CACREP accredited schools who are currently licensed, in graduate school, or completing licensure requirements.
