Members of the Connecticut Counseling Association (CCA), an ACA Branch, were featured in recent news coverage on the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. The role of counseling was highlighted in the New Haven Register on Wednesday September 7, a local NBC affiliate aired an interview with CCA members on Thursday, and on Sunday, September 11, an article based on interviews with CCA members will appear in the Connecticut Post. Congratulations to CCA for raising the awareness of the counseling profession and the work that counselors do in helping individuals cope with disaster and trauma.
