Dr. Colleen Logan Elected as ACA's 57th president

The American Counseling Association is pleased to announce that Dr. Colleen Logan has been elected to serve as ACA's 57th president.

Dr. Colleen LoganDr. Colleen Logan has been elected to serve as ACA's 57th president. ACA Nominations and Elections Chair, Patricia Arredondo said that from a field of six very qualified and dedicated ACA members, Dr. Logan received the highest number of votes of the 2,707 ballots that were cast.

Dr. Logan will serve as ACA President-elect beginning July 1, 2007 and then will assume the presidency of the Association on July 1, 2008.

ACA congratulates all of the candidates, who in addition to Colleen Logan included: Lynn Linde; Christine Moll; Michael Hutchins; Wyatt Kirk; and, Barbara Blackburn. Dr. Arredondo said, "Each of these candidates deserve a note of thanks for their continued leadership in the profession and their willingness to have their name placed in nomination."
