Join VA’s Office of Connected Care and the American Counseling Association at 12:00 p.m. on May 7, 2020 for a Facebook Live discussion to introduce you to Annie. VA continues to use virtual tools and technology to bring care closer to home for Veterans and Annie is part of this effort.
Do you know Annie? Annie is a VA service that sends automated text messages to Veterans to help them stay focused on their self-care by sending health related notifications, reminders, or motivational messages. Annie empowers Veterans to play an active role in their care through prompts and recommendations. Thousands of Veterans successfully use Annie to stay healthy and on track in meeting their wellness goals.
During the event, experts will discuss how Annie can be used to improve mental health and some of the other protocols available. VA experts Dr. Jennifer Roth, Clinical Psychologist, and Boyd Loehr, Primary Care Registered Nurse, will speak with Lisa Henderson, Synchronous Health Co-Founder and COO, and answer questions from the live audience.
