The American Counseling Association has a long history embracing multiculturalism, diversity, equity and inclusion. Racist commentary and slurs do not reflect the values of ACA. We are aware that talk show personality Joe Rogan’s podcast has included misinformation related to Covid-19 vaccines and the use of dehumanizing slurs toward people of color.
We cannot tolerate Mr. Rogan’s behavior and have decided that while ACA’s The Voice of Counseling has appeared on Spotify since September 2021, we will no longer include our content on their platform.
