Beginning in 2012, new issues of Journal of Counseling & Development and nine ACA division journals will be available online at WileyOnlineLibrary.com -- as will full digital archives for each journal. In order to receive notification when every new issue is published, counselors must sign up for content alerts by following the steps below.
Content Alerts and RSS Feeds are
- Free - You can sign up for each ACA journal on WileyOnlineLibrary.com even if you are not a member of ACA or the division. (Note. Full-text articles and digital archives are only available free to current members; nonmembers can download pay-per-view articles for a nominal fee).
- User-Friendly - Review current content at-a-glance and click to link directly to articles of interest.
- Time-Saving - Stay current and save valuable research time.
- Convenient - Opt-in for automatic delivery straight to your inbox. Read immediately or file for later. Opt-out any time; no questions asked.
- Adaptable to Your Needs - You can change the frequency and format at any time by selecting "My Profile" and then "Alert Manager."
Sign Up for Content Alerts
- Log in to WileyOnlineLibrary.com. If you are not already a registered user, you can create a profile. You will be asked to supply your name, e-mail, location, and areas of interest. Once registered, return to the journal homepage.
- Select "Get New Content Alerts" from Journal Tools on the top of the left-hand side menu.
- You will now receive an e-mail when a new issue publishes.
- Repeat on each homepage for the journals you currently receive.
Enhance your e-mail alerts by also choosing to receive RSS feeds. RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a web feed that automatically downloads a list of the latest issue's articles and abstracts as they publish. You can direct your feed to your inbox, blog, or RSS reader.

- Log in to the journal home page or, if not yet registered, to WileyOnlineLibrary.com as in step one above.
- Select "Get RSS feed" from Journal Tools on the top of the left-hand side menu.
- You may now customize where you'd like your feed.
- Repeat on each homepage for the journals you currently receive to obtain more title-level feeds.
