Opioid Addiction

Counselors are at the forefront of the opioid crisis.  The peripheral effects on families and children are severe and long-lasting.  Congress has been active in passing legislation to address the crisis but more needs to be done.  ACA will continue to advocate for the role of counselors in the federal effort.
