Building Blocks to Portability Project

The Building Blocks to Portability Project was initiated to facilitate license portability by crafting a consensus licensure title, licensure scope of practice and licensure education requirements endorsed by the counseling profession. The 20/20 delegates weren't able to agree on consensus licensure education requirements but finalized the licensure title and scope of practice in March of 2013.

The consensus license title was endorsed by 28 of the 29 participating organizations and scope of practice was endorsed by 27 of the 29 participating organizations. Click here for sample of final 20/20 License Portability letter sent to all licensing boards!
